“A Minecraft Movie”, a live-action film based on the popular video game “Minecraft”, will be released next April. The teaser of this movie showed a group of people who suddenly appeared in the world of Minecraft! Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers), and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) – all four are seen wandering around this strange, cubic world, bewildered.

Jennifer Coolidge, absent from the teaser, is also poised to have a significant part in the film. The film was directed by Jared Hess, and produced by Roy Lee, John Berg, Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Jill Messick, Torfi Frans Olafsson, Vu Bui, and Momoa. Todd Hallowell, Cailin Walters, Brian Mendoza, Jonathan Speights, Pete Chiappetta, Andrew Larry, and Anthony Titanegro also serve as executive producers.
